Eye Injection Aftercare 

What to expect after your injection:

·   Your eye may feel sore, scratchy, or “like something is in it” for 24-48 hours

·   The white of your eye may become very red and you may have blood tinged tears

·   You may take over the counter pain medication

·   You may use natural/artificial tears every half hour after the injection for comfort

Please call us immediately (214-233-6170), if you notice severe eye pain, sensitivity to lights, or decreased vision as this may be a sign of an infection. Please go to your local emergency room, preferably with eye care coverage, or referring eye care provider if you do not receive an immediate response from our team.
